I’m Rich. After years of feeling stuck, I decided to take a leap and chase freedom on the road. Backed by entrepreneur Simon Squibb and HelpBnk, I was given a chance to pursue van life full-time with The Dream Machine UK.

But it didn’t start smoothly. The original van build? An absolute disaster. Dodgy work, broken promises, and a dream that nearly fell apart before it even began. I was left with a van that wasn’t safe, functional, or finished. But instead of giving up, I used it as fuel to keep going — rebuilding, reworking, and pushing forward.

Now, I’m living life on the road across the UK, meeting amazing people, and sharing every step — the highs, the lows, and everything in between — with a growing community on TikTok and instagram.

But it’s not just about me. With the support of HelpBnk, we launched the 3rd UK Ring Doorbell activation, supporting aspiring dreamers to do the same thing as I did; find ways to achieve their dreams. It’s proof that even from a van, you can make a real impact.
